Hi I'm Sam and I decided to learn BSL as a way to gain confidence and to try something new! I have always been interesed in learning BSL but like everything else it was always something that was on the back burner. I was introduced to Jan through a friend and begain the Foundation course. I never expected to enjoy it so much and very quickly decided I would like the opportunity to learn more. After finishing foundation and Level 1, I offered to help students who might have been a bit like me... a little nervous and maybe a bit low in self confidence, to prove that ANYONE can learn BSL and there really is no excuss not to give it a go!
 
I am currently studying my Level 2 and hope one day to be able to represent The Fylde Coast BSL Centre as a teacher as well as a student!
