About us

The Fylde Coast BSL Centre was founded in 2007 by Janice Crossland-Jones. It immediately appealed to the locality and surrounding areas and has been a very successful business in the relative short time of existence.

Since then we have helped many students achieve learning the basics of British Sign Language (BSL) on our Foundation course to continuing up to a BSL NVQ Level 4 Signature certified qualification.

As well as teaching at the centre we also teach at schools and to public service personnel.

Congratulations to our youngest students, Melissa Wilson, aged 8 and Abby Lea Hurwitch, aged 7, on completing their 6-week long Foundation Course at the Centre. We are very proud of them and we have great anticipation and confidence that they will go on to achieve even greater signing skills and qualifications to add to their achievements so far.
